The Council on Professional Conduct (CPC) elected Anna Turrietta (1L) as its first student co-chair to work with the faculty Chair. Turrietta will take this position for the 2024-25 academic year. Anna graduated from the University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy with a minor in Religious Studies in 2016. Her coursework focused, in part, on the application of ethics to policy issues, and she has worked in the private and public sectors.

The Council is developing programming for the 2024-25 academic year. The CPC addresses possible violations of the Rules of Professional Conduct for Law Students and also works to identify educational opportunities to develop understanding of ethical and professionalism standards, and to meet the Professional Conduct Education Requirements.
